Brake Press Operator - Day Shift 7am-3:30pm Pay will be based on experience starting at $20.00/hr Job Description As a Brake Press Operator, you will operate a brake press and shear in a fabrication shop to manufacture industrial handrails and gates. You will be responsible for moving objects into proper placement, measuring, and ensuring precise machine cuts and bends. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential. Handle and move objects into proper placement. Maintain a high focus on safety and attention to detail. Essential Skills Experience with a brake press. Experience with a shear. Proficiency in using a tape measure. General production and machine operation skills. Experience in a welding environment. Grinding. Fabrication skills. Experience with CNC machines (3-axis, 4-axis). Knowledge of Dragon and Star technology. Ability to lift 30-70 lbs of steel pipe. Familiarity with reading designs, drawings, and schematics. Job Type & Location This position is based out of Bernalillo, New Mexico. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
