Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift: [3pm - 11pm] Key Responsibilities: Operate manual TIG welding equipment to fabricate components per specifications. Weld a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, cast, and cupronickel. Interpret and follow verbal instructions and job orders from manufacturing leadership. Perform tack welds and join metal workpieces at specified distances. Conduct quality inspections and document results. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Use appropriate safety devices and PPE at all times. Participate in cross-training and support other manufacturing functions as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or technical school diploma preferred. 3+ years of TIG welding experience (2 years minimum required). Proficient in blueprint reading and use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers). Ability to pass a weld test. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Team-oriented with a willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed. Work Environment: Industrial workshop setting with required PPE: welding gloves, eye protection, steel-toe boots, and ear protection.
