Painter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in a general production role. The Painter will play a crucial role in guiding the utilization of inventory to prevent depletion, managing processes to minimize waste, and maximizing material reutilization. This position requires a focus on safety and quality, organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines, and inspecting workstations to ensure quality performance. Responsibilities Provide guidance on the utilization of inventory of standard items to avoid depletion to zero. Manage processes to minimize waste and maximize material reutilization. Continually monitor production activities for maximum safety and identify immediate remedial action to address safety concerns. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Inspect in-production workstations weekly for quality performance before the Quality Control department to prevent rework. Essential Skills Proficient in carpentry, finish carpentry, construction, framing, and drywall. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in general labor, rough carpentry, and commercial construction. Proficient in installation, trim work, and painting. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3 years of painting experience. Experience operating a spray gun. Experience working specifically on new builds, within a painting company, or having your own painting company. Why Work Here? You will use various hand and power tools, including spray guns, tape measures, and metal studs. The role involves new construction projects and requires a keen eye for detail and precision. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
