Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials, ensuring adherence to the company's Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsibilities Load trucks and secure products according to customer requirements. Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply production lines with raw materials. Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules. Keep production lines supplied with raw materials. Inventory products as needed, and label, sort, wrap, and tie products. Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device. Essential Skills Proficient forklift skills. Experience in material handling, picking, and loading. Ability to operate an RF scanner. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good understanding of shipping processes. Experience in a non-metal company environment where pallets are stacked on top of each other. Why Work Here?
