Heavy Equipment Operator Pay: 25-35/hr Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in State College, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in construction or excavation projects. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork to ensure the successful completion of various projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes to perform tasks including digging, grading, and material movement. Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. Follow project plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions to execute tasks accurately. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience operating various heavy equipment. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required. Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in grading, civil site and civil construction. Skills in excavation, trenching, fine grading.
