General Laborer

Currently looking to hire an entry-level laborer to assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation on mechanical systems such as pipes, ducts, and equipment to ensure energy efficiency and safety. We are currently working on schools across the area, so you will be working indoors and not exposed to the elements. Position will require travel out of town each week BUT you will be reimbursed and will be home on the weekends! Responsibilities Load and unload materials to job sites Measure and cut insulation to specifications Wrap and tape insulation material around pipes Seal insulation with adhesive tape after wrapping Work from a step ladder 75% of the time, generally around 10 ft., occasionally up to 30 ft. Essential Skills Minimum 6 months of labor experience Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to read a tape measure Valid driver's license Ability to work overnights Monday-Thursday. Work Environment Commercial and industrial construction job sites Dress code: steel-toed boots, jeans, t-shirt/sweatshirt Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days (6 AM - 4:30 PM), variable start/stop times Travel required; hotel accommodations provided if necessary and with per diem or mileage reimbursement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
