Job Summary Lead and supervise self-perform framing and siding operations on large-scale commercial construction projects. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee all phases of framing and siding from mobilization through project closeout. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all framing and siding activities on-site. Manage and lead a team of framers and siders, ensuring productivity and safety. Coordinate delivery and staging of materials, including prefabricated panels. Interpret and enforce construction documents, specifications, and building codes. Perform and verify layout and field measurements for framing accuracy. Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for framing and siding. Develop and implement work sequences and schedules to meet project milestones. Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor daily progress and adjust schedules to avoid delays. Identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. Lead daily huddles to review tasks, safety concerns, and progress updates. Perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project specs. Document and address any deficiencies or rework items promptly. Attend and contribute to weekly coordination and planning meetings. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports. Support project closeout by ensuring punch list items are completed. Required Experience and Skills Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial building construction. At least 5 years of hands-on carpentry and framing experience. Proven leadership experience managing framing crews on large projects. Strong understanding of wood framing systems and siding installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Proficient in layout, measurement, and use of construction tools. Familiarity with construction safety standards and OSHA regulations. Certifications First Aid/CPR certification. Competent Person certifications for Scaffolding and Fall Protection.
