Flux Core Welder Day Shift

Flux Welder - Day Shift 6am-3pm M-F Pay will be based on weld test - Drug and Background Screen Job Description We are seeking skilled Flux Core welders to join our team, focusing on fabricating and welding tanks and other industrial equipment using blueprints. This role involves 90% hands-on flux welding and 10% GMAW, with some metal core. Once familiar with the process and procedures, welders will also be responsible for fitting. Responsibilities Utilize blueprints to fabricate and weld tanks and industrial equipment. Perform 90% flux welding and 10% MIG. Engage in fitting tasks once familiar with the process. Perform structural welding including flux core and stick welding. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience as an industrial welder. Proficiency in welding 3G and 4G. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic welding symbols. Experience with structural welding is highly advantageous. Experience with fitting is a plus. Proficiency in using .045 diameter wire. Proven work history of 2+ years, preferably 3-5 years, avoiding frequent job changes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
