CNC Press Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Turret Punch Press Operator responsible for maintaining and diagnosing equipment. The role involves selecting and loading materials specific to each job, installing punches and dies, and ensuring machine operation meets specifications. Responsibilities Maintain and diagnose CNC Turret Punch Press. Select and load material specific for each job. Select and install punches, dies in machine. Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged tools. Measure workpiece for conformance to specifications. Notify supervisor of discrepancies. Clean machine, tooling, and parts. Perform machine maintenance. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Production Sheet metal Read drawings Set up and operate machines Manual adjustments Blueprint reading Soldering Micrometer G code Machine operation Laser Work Environment Work in a clean environment with a steady pace. Dress code includes long pants such as jeans or khakis. The position offers both second shift (3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday) and third shift (11:00pm-7:30am, Monday-Friday) options. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
