Printing Press Operator

Aerotek is hiring a Press Operator ASAP!! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to efficiently operate the Apex printing press. The role involves setting up machines, completing changeovers, and conducting both visual and mechanical quality inspections. You will be responsible for making necessary machinery adjustments and heat stacking, starting up equipment, and comparing schedules for duties. Responsibilities Operate Apex printing press efficiently. Set up machines and complete changeovers. Conduct visual and mechanical quality inspections. Perform machinery adjustments as needed. Execute heat stacking processes. Start up equipment and compare schedules for duties. Essential Skills Experience in quality inspection and machine changeovers. Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and machinery adjustments. Knowledge of cylinder printing and Apex printing press operations. Experience in plastic injection and injection modeling. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in manufacturing machine operation. Experience with machinery changeover, setup, and troubleshooting. Plastic injection modeling experience is a plus. Blueprint reading is advantageous but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
