Title: Principal Consultant, Mechanical Engineer - Parts and Projects Location: Waukesha, WI (Onsite) Duration: Fulltime/Permanent Job Description: The team developing industry leading X-ray tubes for clinical applications is looking for highly motivated Mechanical Engineers to join them to enhance the quality & performance of X-ray tubes. Mechanical Engineer will be working on fixture design and testing of X-ray tube sub-assemblies to enhance robustness and performance. Job Description: Mechanical design utilizing Creo / Windchill. Simulation / analysis (Creo / Ansys FEA, stack up analysis) and testing in the lab. Design optimization & improvement for reducing cost, increasing yield and enhancing performance & reliability. Engineering Change control Rapid prototyping Design verification. Experience in Medical systems / Mechanical engineering industry Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Hardware engineering areas Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Tools/Technologies Experience with 3D CAD System, CREO/Windchill Familiarity with engineering analysis & simulation tools like Ansys Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on hardware) Why join Genpact?
