  • Provide electrical systems engineering and programmatic support expertise to support technology systems development through the full systems lifecycle
  • Support technical project and systems engineering management, including CONOPS generation, requirements development, integrated milestone/schedule development, system development monitoring, testing support, and system acceptance
  • Execute reviews and assessments of system development efforts, technical proposals and papers, and use case specific CONOPS to ensure compliance with government requirements and risk tolerances
  • Participate in and support system technical and program status reviews
  • Draft formal presentations, proposals, technical documents, and other formal communications
  • Participate in executive-level customer meetings, discussions, and program briefings
  • Review technical challenges (especially system electrical challenges) and propose recommended courses of action to the customer
  • Provide technical expertise to provide a detailed understanding of current systems and potential system improvements
  • Provide analysis on system designs related to the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power
  • Review electrical circuitry designs for validation against system technical requirements, CONOPS, and safety requirements
  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations on vendor designs related to power supplies including but not limited to primary and secondary cells and battery systems

Qualifications

  • Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Experience providing full life cycle systems engineering support
  • Proficiency with electrical circuit analysis tools (e.g. Spice)
  • Experience writing requirements document, test plans, standard operating procedures and other common engineering documents
  • Able to act independently with minimal task direction and confidently provide EE subject matter expertise
  • Able to travel ~10% of time primarily for test witnessing and participation in status reviews/system milestones
