What you'll be doing: As a Maintenance Technician 2 you will perform preventative andspontaneous maintenance on conveyors, electrical motors, materialhandling equipment, skill saws, propane torch, man-lift, handtools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, electrical testequipment and ladders as well as lift equipment jacks, chargers,and batteries. In your role, you will perform general building maintenanceincluding overhead doors, construction repair, roll carts, floorrepair and second level gates, doors, etc... You will perform lightplumbing maintenance and perform carpentry assignments asneeded. Safety is our utmost priority so, in this role, we will look to youto ensure safe work practices and embrace our safety culture. In this role you will be essential to the success of Staples SupplyChain as we deliver to our customers.
