**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design storm sewer systems and manage stormwater as part of roadway projects
- Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and necessary permitting documents
- Conduct drainage modeling using tools like MicroStation, GEOPAK, ASAD, ICPR, SWMM, and HEC-RAS
- Develop engineering drawings compliant with FDOT standards
- Perform hydrologic, hydraulic modeling, and floodplain analysis
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for successful project delivery
- Manage client and regulatory communications, ensuring effective project coordination
- Uphold high-quality design standards and mentor junior engineers
**Ideal Candidate Qualifications:**
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida, or the ability to obtain within one year
- Minimum of three years in drainage design and stormwater management
- In-depth knowledge of FDOT plans and design standards
- Proficient with MicroStation/GEOPAK; 3D modeling abilities are a plus
- Experience with ICPR, SWMM, ASAD, and HEC-RAS hydraulic modeling software
- Strong organizational skills paired with excellent communication and technical writing
