HVAC Foreman/Lead Installer

American Heating and Cooling, a well-established mechanical contractor located in the Hudson Valley, is currently accepting resumes for an experienced HVAC Foreman/Lead Installer. We are seeking individuals desiring a long term career. Candidates must possess a high degree of integrity, attitude, and work performance while meeting the following requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installations.
- A minimum 2 year's crew leader experience.
- Knowledge of all facets to read blueprints and layout/install new HVAC systems from start to finish. Including duct and piping layouts.
- A valid driver's license with no DUI on record.
- Crane rigging experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- EPA Certified.
- Hydronic piping experience.
- Ability to complete a job in an efficient, organized, and timely manner.
- Works well independently as well as within a team environment.
- Verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work at heights.
- Able to sustain long periods of standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and carrying 50+ pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ductwork layout and coordination with other trades.
- Installation of mechanical equipment, piping, ductwork, and diffusers.
- Rigging equipment for crane lifts.
- Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Communicate to both project manager and customer.
- Supervise and coordinate other team members.
