About the Role:
IPS corporation is seeking a CAD Designer to create 2D and 3D isometric designs using computer-aided design software. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to create building DWV piping system layouts, using AutoCAD software. If you are a creative problem-solver with a passion for design, we want you on our team. Responsibilities:

• Work with architects, engineers, and other members of the project team as part of the project planning process
• Collaborate with staff and customers to create 2D and 3D isometric drawings of proposed piping layouts, including the application of ProVent products
• Produce clear and concise drawings using generally acceptable drafting practices
• Maintain control over drawing revisions
• Store drawing files in a controlled location
• Perform other duties as assigned including periodic reviews of drawings and specifications

Requirements and Skills:

• Associates degree in design or engineering, or related field
• 3+ years experience as CAD designer
• Experience with AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)
• Solid knowledge of drafting techniques applicable to building design
• Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to work with people of all backgrounds.

Physical Requirements:
