Operator

Follow standard operating procedures in performing a variety of tasks in injection department,
including any secondary, and rework activities such as: packing, sonic welding, printing,
assembly, flash trimming, cleaning, and sorting. Perform accurate counting, wrapping, and
packing of parts as required.

-Keep up pace with production machinery, assembly line ensuring productivity of the line is to
established production rates.
-Perform quality checks on own work. Use various job aids to distinguish between good and
bad parts, separating any bad parts. Bring questions related to quality, equipment, and
working conditions immediately to the attention of the assigned Foreman.
-Use a variety of small hand and bench tools and light processing equipment in a safe and
appropriate manner.
-Maintain work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
-Locate and Follow Work Instructions.
-When excessive scrap builds up, notify assigned Foreman immediately.
-Punch In and Out each day and follow Commercial Plastics Co., Time Clock policies.
-Ability to sort product and fill out Commercial Plastics Co., production cards

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Good hand-eye coordination, good vision and ability to distinguish colors, good manual dexterity
Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time while performing repetitive, close work.
Read and write Spanish/English.

POSITION Physical, Mental requirements:
This position will require ongoing walking, sitting, standing and handling of production piece parts.
Light lifting of product, boxes, skids, may be required up to (50lbs. max.)
The individual must be able to work under the pressure of time. Multi task oriented and ability to work with teams or self-governed.

Working Conditions requirements:
This position will work in Commercial Plastics Co. production areas.
There may be exposure to noise, dust and fumes in the production areas
Commercial Plastics Co., is not climate controlled manufacturing facility. Working in elevated
heat conditions may be required.
