Architectural Designer

An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on an Architectural Designer. As part of the Structural team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world. This person will be responsible for a variety of project elements, including architectural drafting, design, checking, and both 2D and 3D drawings. To integrate into the team efficiently, this person will need a strong background in Revit, and intermediate knowledge in AutoCAD. This person will need a strong understanding of heavy industrial projects, including heavy concrete. This role will be a 6 month contract-to-hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $25-$40/hr, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.

Water/wastewater experience
Specialized industry experience (semiconductor, oil and gas, etc.)
2-7 years of Architectural Design experience
Strong proficiency in Revit
Intermediate skills in AutoCAD
Recent experience supporting heavy industrial projects, including strong heavy concrete knowledge
Ability to work onsite 3x/week in Phoenix, AZ
