Job Title: Lead Drafter

Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on a wide array of commercial and industrial projects across the United States. This role involves designing with a variety of materials, including wood, steel, and concrete block buildings. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of construction documents and collaborate with teams to bring projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Create full, working plan sets for commercial modular construction, ensuring customer and state approval in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Utilize Revit for 99% of design tasks.
  • Interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and state agencies.
  • Assist with shop drawings review as needed.
  • Apply ICC Building code knowledge to ensure all designs meet code requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Drafting, Revit, Revit Architecture, Design, Construction, and CAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience from a design-build firm is ideal.
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial, overseeing the work of 1-2 others, but training is available.
  • Strong drafting skills are essential.

The position is primarily in-office, with flexibility to work from home occasionally if necessary. The culture is fun and laid-back, yet fast-paced and production-focused. There is an opportunity to interact directly with teams in the shop, providing a hands-on experience with the projects. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
