Civil Drafter

We are seeking a self -motivated Civil Drafter working remotely from United States. Reporting to the Regional Structural Design Engineer, the Civil Drafter will be working on technical works assignments on projects as part of a project team. The candidate will be assigned drafting tasks under the direction of our civil engineering design department staff.

What Youll Do:

• Create design models using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Draft structural plans and details to support engineering designs.
• Manage, manipulate, and maintain Autodesk Civil 3D files.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to engineering tasks.
• Assist with field investigations and document findings .
• Provide technical support to design engineers throughout project phases.
• Contribute to the refinement and maintenance of company drafting standards.
• Draft technical memos, letters, and reports for internal and external use.

Experience & Education Desired:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Civil CAD design, with emphasis on site development?
• Associates degree or professional certification in Civil Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), or related technical field (preferred but not required)
• 3+ Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D (Version 2022 or newer),
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to interact well with coworkers and regulatory agencies, and
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• 5 years or more of progressive Autodesk Civil 3D experience, and
• Experience in structural and civil site engineering drafting.
