CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - HEALTHCARE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS?
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 / year

Seeking multiple motivated and experienced Construction Manager Sr Architect Engineer (CM-Sr A/E) with construction program technical education and experience to join us in an infrastructure upgrade project at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. Candidates will report to a Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, generate reports, as a representative for the client on major healthcare construction project.?
Responsibilities:?
Sr. Architect/Engineer will provide leadership and mentorship and provides project and/or construction management of a single major program or project or multiple projects.? Provides decisive direction in regard to business, technical and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities.? Sr. Architect/Engineer will be required to learn, teach, and implement industry, client, and internal company best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment. The position will require experience leading and mentoring a team of professionals and experience as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below; ??
Overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule.?
Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost information?
Maintain an overall project schedule to coordinate construction contractor and transition to operations activities.?
Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports.? Leads the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.?
Project Documentation?
Issue resolution?
Oversight of testing, Inspection and Commissioning Services?
Identify and mitigate risks on project(s) that will impact medical center facilities or that could have a severe impact on patient care.?
Required Qualifications:?
Licensing: None Required?
Education: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture from an accredited University OR 15 years of directly related experience.?
Experience: 7 years of experience in the management of facility construction projects including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management, program budgeting, estimating and overall project management activities.? Professional experience should include strong knowledge of construction documents, as well as superior management and communication skills.?
Safety: OSHA 30?
Leadership: Must possess the skillset and competency to manage personnel of diverse skillsets?
Preferred Qualifications?
Experience with Federal projects and with healthcare in particular.?
CCM, CQM or PMP?
