Industrial Paint Technician - Levels 1, 2, and 3 Location: Snyder, Nebraska Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Range:$24.00 - $30.00/hr (with advancement opportunities up to $33.00/hr) About the Role We are hiring multipleIndustrial Paint Techniciansacross three experience levels to join our growing paint department in Snyder, Nebraska. You'll be responsible for prepping and painting industrial trucks and truck parts in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Position Levels & Pay Level 1 - Entry ($24/hr): Ideal for candidates with 1+ year of experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing paint environments. You know the basics and are ready to grow. Level 2 - Intermediate ($27/hr): You've been around the block. You understand surface prep, have solid hands-on experience, and are ready to take on more responsibility. Level 3 - Advanced ($30/hr): A master-level technician with expertise in bodywork, SOPs, spray techniques, and paint mixing. Rarely hired directly into this level. Advancement opportunity for high performers. Leadership and technical excellence required. Key Responsibilities Clean and inspect parts prior to painting Prep products for final paint application Mix coatings using reducers and catalysts per specifications Spray primers, sealers, color, and clear coats using air paint systems Ensure proper coverage, gloss, and finish quality Maintain and clean spray equipment and paint booths Follow hazardous waste handling and spill response procedures Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Qualifications Required: Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial painting Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments Familiarity with OSHA and EPA safety standards Ability to work in high-heat, non-climate-controlled environments Must pass a spirometer test Preferred: 1+ year of automotive paint prep experience High school diploma or GED Experience with DA sanders, grinders, and hand tools Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques Note: Residential painting experience (e.g., house painting with rollers) does not qualify for this role.
