Job Description:

ZAG Interactive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, love a challenge and be passionate about thepany they work for. Experience in Project Management, Marketing and Communications is a benefit, and applicant must be willing to learn and grow in the position.

This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to manage multiple website development projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with team leads and the project team to execute on plans

Monitor day-to-day activities and be actively involved in the project team to ensure work is progressing as planned

Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization and deliverable dates

Maintain project documentation to ensure requirements are clearlymunicated, understood and executed upon

Develop a full understanding of project to be able to speak to any of the following: previous deliverables, signed client agreements, systems involved, defects, etc.

Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals

Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance

Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback

Communicate and document project status and strategic rmendations to clients and team members on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels

Proactively identify opportunities and deliver improvements

Demonstrate good project management methodology and project processes

Work with strategy, business development and other teams to scope additional project opportunities

Ability to work closely with team members to identify efficiencies within process and team dynamic

Provide support and guidance to the project management team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in project management

Must have working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonalmunications skills

Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams

Must be able to distill pertinent information from clientmunications, and distribute key points to team members

Strong attention to detail and focus on taskpletion is critical

Experience with the design and development of websites and an understanding of web technologies

Strong knowledge of user experience, web development, web design and marketing is a plus

Ability to think strategically at all phases of a project

Work hard, play hard mentality

Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies

Understanding of business and functional requirements

Mobile and social media experience an asset

Competencies in MS Office, Project Management Software and other relatedmonmunications tools is required
