Mechanical Drafting duties:Have sufficient knowledge of piping systems to be able to draw PandIDs, plans, sections and details and create design task drawings under the direction of a designer or engineer.Electrical/Instrument Drafter duties:Have sufficient knowledge of electrical systems to be able to draw one-lines, loops, plans, sections and details and create design task drawings under the direction of a designer or engineer.General duties include: Revise drawings from red-lines and Change notices (CNs) for various disciplines, Research and mark-up other affected drawings. Create change notices. Create new baseline drawings. Work independently. Develop design drawings for various disciplines from engineering specifications and sketches. Perform field work and prepare field sketchesManage and maintain drawings and documents in the SPR document management systemPrepare daily and weekly reports to reflect work status.REQUIRED: High school diploma / GED and 5 years OR Associate/Vo Tech degree in drafting with 3 years of Auto Cad experience in the oil and petrochemical industry.Drafter should have experience in the current releases of Auto Cad, both 2D and 3D and current release of one or more of the Hexagon Smart Plant tools: SPPID, SPEL, SPI, SP3D and SP Foundation.Experience with Excel.DESIRED: Experience with Smartplant, SAP Document Management system and SharePoint
