Job Description:

This is a permanent full time role-MUST be worked ON SITE in Connecticut

*Must have hands on experience with hardware and Electronics. This is a "hands-on" management role.

Must have experience managing an engineering team.

The Electronic Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of electronic engineers engaged in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems andponents. This rolebines technical expertise with managerial skills to ensure projects arepleted efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Experience managing an Engineering team

Proven experience in electronic design, development, and testing.

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic design and testing equipment.

Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO, IEEE, and EMC directives.

Must be personable and able to work well as part of a passionate, dedicated team in order to represent the core organizational values while interacting with fellow employees, customers, and vendors necessary to get product design to the marketplace.

Familiar with CAN, USB, Ethernet and othermonmunication protocols.

Experience with Atlassian development and collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

Experience with Altium Designer Software and Tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of electronic engineers.

Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

Support resources effectively to ensure timelypletion of projects.

Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

Project Management:

Work with Project and Product Managers to support Agile team projects based on business and organizational goals and deadlines.

Coordinate with other functional areas, such as production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor team progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Ensurepliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Technical Oversight:

Provide daily technical guidance and support to team members.

Review and approve design specifications, schematics, and test plans.

Troubleshootplex technical issues and help team members in providing solutions.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electronic engineering.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger products or systems.

Work closely with the Sourcing team regarding suppliers and vendors to sourceponents and materials.

Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project requirements and updates.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Implement tools and methodologies to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

Encourage innovation and creativity within the team.

Documentation and Reporting:

Audit project activities, including design documents, test results, and change orders.

As required, prepare reports for senior management, highlighting project status, milestones achieved, and any issues encountered.

Ensurepliance with documentation requirements, such as ISO standards.
