ELM Utility Services, with over 1300 employees nationwide, has an outstanding opportunity as a Gas Leak Survey Technicians to work in the Ft. Collins, Longmont, Denver areas. With starting pay from $20-$30 per hour DOQ, you will be provided paid training by ELM using ELM equipment, including company provided vehicle to work independently as your mobile office. ELM utilizes our Launch point software system with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the job is as simple and efficient as possible for our technicians. As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, your primary responsibility will be to correctly, safely, and efficiently conduct leakage survey as well as perform inspections on designated natural gas systems and facilities. This will require that you are committed to the high quality and accuracy of your work to ensure that clients expectations and compliance requirements are met.
In addition to hourly compensation, ELM offers a full benefits package including:
Company vehicle and fuel card are provided for you to take home each day as your mobile office

Your specific duties in this role will include, but not be limited to:
Following all company, client, state and federal code of regulation requirements.
Following all company safety, quality and operational policies and procedures.
Accurately complete all necessary data collection and paperwork requirements.
Successfully complete training and operator qualification requirements.
Represent company and client in a professional manner.
Accurately detect, classify and document natural gas leakage, atmospheric corrosion and abnormal operating conditions on client's natural gas facilities.
Reading and understanding utility-provided maps and prints.
Develop a knowledge and understanding of underground natural gas system and infrastructure.
Communicating professionally when interacting with client, customers, peers and the public.
Receiving daily via computer/device.
Accept and meet overtime and travel requirements.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
Specific qualifications for the position include:
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
***Please note: This is a Safety-Sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of Marijuana remains a drug listed in Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, and the use of marijuana (medical or recreational) is prohibited.
At least 18 years of age

Valid driver's license in good standing
