Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fabricator responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and operations sheets to determine the appropriate operations to be performed. The role involves a variety of assembly responsibilities including bending, punching, shearing, drilling, tapping, grinding, burring, and counter burring. The candidate will fabricate, assemble, fit, and weld as per blueprints and ensure materials are checked for stock and availability per job. Additionally, the role includes building prototypes and using inspection gauges like micrometers, verniers, and combination squares. Reporting any malfunctions or equipment issues is essential, as is adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to health and safety. Maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work areas is also a critical part of the job. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine appropriate operations. Complete assembly tasks including bending, punching, shearing, drilling, tapping, grinding, burring, and counter burring. Fabricate, assemble, fit, and weld according to blueprints. Essential Skills 2 years of MIG welding experience 2 years of steel fabrication experience Ability to read blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, flux core, and stainless steel. Proficiency in using tools such as tape measures, combination squares, framing punches, needle nose pliers, and point clamps. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a first-shift position from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with work every other Saturday.
