Position Summary

We are looking to hire a Foreman who is a proactive leader with a strong background in IT infrastructure installation and a commitment to quality, safety, and team development. The Foreman is responsible for managing daily on-site operations related to the installation of IT infrastructure in data centers and commercial environments. This role ensures that work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise crews in the installation of network cabling nfrastructure (copper/fiber cabling, server racks, network gear, power systems, etc.)

Interpret and implement project blueprints, floor plans, and technical documentation

Ensure all work complies with ServicePoint IT's quality and safety standards

Organize job site logistics, tool allocation, and material staging

Maintain accurate daily logs, progress updates, and team timekeeping

Liaise with superintendents, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients

Perform field-level quality assurance and resolve technical issues

Enforce safety standards per OSHA and company policy

Coach, train, and evaluate junior team members and technicians

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data center or commercial IT infrastructure installation

2+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or foreman role

Proficient in structured cabling, fiber optics, and hardware installation

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Familiar with TIA/EIA standards, NEC, and OSHA requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills

Valid driver's license and ability to work at various job sites around Boise or regionally

Preferred Certifications

BICSI Installer or Technician Certification

OSHA 30 Certification (within 5 years of certification date)

CPR/First Aid Certification

PMP or Construction Management coursework (a plus)
