DPR Construction is looking for Carpenters with basic experience performing General Trades in commercial construction. Job Requirements: General carpentry responsibilities that include helping with: temporary walls, barricades, side stairs, equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to read tape measure. Basic experience and knowledge on how to operate hand and power tools. Basic experience with commercial concrete and drywall is a plus. Patching/repairing of concrete work, concrete restoration/joint treatment experience is also a plus. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all tools and equipment required and has the knowledge to use the equipment. Physical Requirements: Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting and kneeling for prolonged periods at a time. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Working Conditions: Work occurs primarily in on-site environment and may be indoors or outdoors. May sometimes involve heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust and fumes. All PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) must be worn always (safety vest, protective eyewear, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves as needed, hard hat, face shield and approved footwear including rubber boots).
