We are looking to hire immediately-likeyesterday and the day before that. Your day will be doing Maintenance onair conditioners, gas furnaces & boilers and after some training-servicecalls. Test electricalcircuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such assafety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area. Studyblueprints, design specifications, or manufacturers\' recommendations toascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment componentsand to ensure the proper installation of components. Discuss heating orcooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verifythat repairs corrected malfunctions. Connect heating or air conditioningequipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form completecircuit. Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or generalmaintenance procedures, such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuumingequipment, oiling parts, or changing filters. Inspect and test systemsto verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detectand locate malfunctions. Repair or replace defective equipment,components, or wiring. Install, connect, or adjust thermostats,humidistats, or timers. Braze or solder parts to repair defective jointsand leaks. Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls andequipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician\'s handtools. Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming. Installexpansion and control valves, using acetylene torches and wrenches.Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe or tubing, using pipe fitter\'stools. Install dehumidifiers or related equipment for spaces thatrequire cool, dry air to operate efficiently, such as computer rooms.Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or otherunusual occurrences on work orders. Keep records of repairs andreplacements made and causes of malfunctions. Estimate, order, pick up,deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipmentin good working condition. Schedule work with customers and initiatework o ders, house requisitions, and orders from stock. Lay outreference points for installation of structural and functionalcomponents, using measuring instruments. Install or repair airpurification systems, such as specialized filters or ultraviolet (UV)light purification systems.
