Welder Fitter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team in Canton, OH. This role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $20 to $23.08, and flexibility with shift options including 1st shift (Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm), 3rd shift (Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-5am), or Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm). The ideal candidate will be adept in performing MIG welding techniques primarily on structural steel and will possess strong fitting and construction skills. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on structural steel to touch up welds. Fit and construct parts and frames according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and weld prints. Utilize measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools effectively. Operate shop machines as necessary to complete tasks. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fitting. Proficiency in blueprint reading. Strong knowledge of hand, measurement, and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in TIG welding. Ability to work with stainless steel or sheet metal welding. Why Work Here?
