Facilities Supervisor

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking aFacilities Maintenance Lead in partnership with prominent clients in the Owego area within the Manufacturing field. The lead is responsible for maintaining and repairing infrastructure such as electrical systems, HVAC, Broilers, and maintenance equipment. The facilities lead is essential in maximizing production and quality. This role involves analyzing and resolving operational issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supervising maintenance personnel. Summary: Shift: 1st Pay: $30-$35/ hour Facilities Maintenance Lead Job Responsibilities: Manage the training, leading, and supervision of maintenance personnel, including the scheduling of work assignments. Analyze and resolve mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, machine and other operational problems. Install, adjust, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, oil changes, and replacement of parts. Play an active role in setting up and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Follow written procedures for carrying out scheduled activities. Disconnect, relocate, and reconnect equipment, and perform general relocation duties. Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of repairs, trends, and inventory usage. Collaborate with team members and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to maintain operational continuity. Maintenance Lead Qualifications: High School Diploma/ Equivalent. Supervisor or Management experience. 5+ years of experience in Facilities and Industrial maintenance. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data Use of hand/power tools and repair equipment including calibrated instruments Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair Solid understanding of inventory management and maintenance documentation.
