Maintenance Mechanic (2nd/3rd Shift) Job Description As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical systems, while collaborating with production personnel to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Complete assigned work orders and collaborate with production personnel on troubleshooting and design improvements. Perform electrical wiring and switch adjustments. Lubricate machinery and change out mechanical parts. Diagnose and correct mechanical and basic electrical problems on 14 different lines. Fabricate parts as required. Repair and/or overhaul in-plant equipment by changing rollers, bearings, pumps, chains, sprockets, etc. Perform other general plant duties as assigned by supervision, including cleaning conveyors. Essential Skills Experience as a maintenance technician with a strong understanding of hydraulics. Hands-on approach to mechanical adjustments, lubrication, and diagnostics of both mechanical and basic electrical issues. Ability to frequently lift 50-75 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus, though no specific programs are required. Why Work Here?
