Senior Traffic Engineer

Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of all of our sectors which, in North America include Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation, and Water.Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our growing Cleveland, OH office.Our multi-disciplined group intends to aggressively grow the traffic team by adding a position that would tackle the following responsibilities:Work closely with designers, planners, and other traffic engineers on a wide range of projectsProvide technical attention to detail and project leadership on traffic analysis tasksContribute to creative solutions for traffic operations and safetyBe mindful of project schedules and client deliveryAbleto communicate with clients and internal stakeholdersParticipate in recruitmentand the development of junior technical staffDevelop and prepare technical bids and proposalsDevelop and maintain client relationshipsCandidate SpecificationWe invite applications from candidates with the following experience:BS (Civil) Engineering, or equivalentProfessional Engineering (PE)registration preferred andProfessional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) a plus5-10 years of experience in Traffic & Transportation Engineering/Planning preferredExperience in traffic analysis and microsimulationTravel demand modeling experience a plusSignal design, signal timing plan development, signing plan development, and/or traffic control experience are a plusNEPA experience a plusExperience or training in computer applications and operations (Microsoft Office, GIS, TransModeler, Synchro, TransCADBentley OpenRoads Designer, etc.)Valid driver's licenseGood written and verbal communication skillsOur teams are comprised of bright and enthusiastic people who wish to make a difference to the world that we live in.
