Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter Location: Fort Collins, CO (with potential to transition to Longmont, CO) Description: Aerotek is seeking experienced Commercial/Industrial Pipefitters for an exciting project in Fort Collins, CO. Upon completion, qualified candidates may have the opportunity to transition to a follow-up project in Longmont, CO. This role involves working in a clean, operational manufacturing facility where professionalism and a presentable appearance are essential. The current project includes the installation of two heat pump chillers into the facility's water systems. Responsibilities: Rig and install large bore piping (2", 6", 10", and 12") using carbon steel and copper materials Perform cutting, grinding, beveling, brazing, and soldering Read and interpret blueprints with accuracy Execute layout and installation of pipe supports and hangers Maintain a clean and safe work environment in a live manufacturing setting Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial settings Proficient in rigging and fitting carbon steel pipe Skilled in blueprint reading and layout Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus Must have reliable transportation to job sites Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have): NCCER Certification Pipefitting License or Journeyman License OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Compensation: 4-6 years of experience: $35/hr 7-9 years of experience: $37/hr 10+ years of experience: $40/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM 40 hours/week with occasional overtime or Saturday work Keywords: Commercial Construction, Pipefitter, Journeyman, Apprentice, Copper, Carbon Steel, Rigging, Blueprint Reading, Fabrication, NCCER, OSHA, Pipefitting License Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
