Maintenance Electro-Mechanic

PeopleShare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electro-Mechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Candidates must have experience in the food manufacturing industry. Title: Electro Mechanic Location: Collingswood, NJ 08103 Type: Direct Hire, Full-time Salary: $27-36/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM start time, 10-12 hour shifts. Preventive Maintenance every other Saturday. Responsibilities: Locate breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipment Install, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.) Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipment Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceeding Adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programs Maintains OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Must be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements Requirements: Experience in the food manufacturing industry Experience in electromechanics, mechanical manufacturing, or other relevant training Strong attention to detail and ability to intervene safely, quickly, and effectively Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in all types Must read and write English Able to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs Ability to work in a fast paced, refrigerated environment Able to function in a team environment through communication and cooperation High school diploma or GED required
