CNC Mill Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated CNC Mill Operator to manufacture cylinder heads for recreational airplanes. This role requires a blend of physical activity, precision, and technical skill to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities Lift and handle cylinder heads weighing between 20-30 pounds throughout the day. Grind and debur parts between the flanges as per specifications. Measure and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers. Document work performed and any defects both electronically and on traveler sheets. Operate a variety of CNC mills without the need for setup. Utilize mechanical skills to work with hand tools, grinders, and measurement instruments. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and grinders. Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers. Basic knowledge of CNC operation and machine fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous. Interest or prior schooling in CNC machining is a bonus. The facility is climate-controlled, providing air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
