Required:

* 18 years of age or older

* Follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties

* Pass a pre-employment criminal history check and pre-employment drug screen

* Wear required PPE at all times

Preferred:

* Knowledge and skill to operate hand and power tools

* Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, mill work, agriculture, or construction

Position Summary:

The Labor Production position is an entry level opportunity introducing the employee to the basic components of either the particleboard or hardboard facility.

Duties Include:

* Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards

* Clean facilities including production areas, breakrooms, and restrooms

* Sweep and shovel including scrap, debris, wood pieces, broken boards, and sawdust

* Lift, flip, pull, and push composite panel materials

* Operate a full wheelbarrow and/or wheeled tote to clean and haul waste materials

* Use air to blow down and clean up floors and equipment

* Use hand and power tools such as a circular saw to break up materials for removal

* Use weed eater, lawn mower, and other grounds maintenance tools for tasks around the facilities

* May assist operators

* Begin to learn basic operator roles and responsibilities

* Perform additional duties as required by supervisor

* On-side attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities
