Commercial Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical projects and proficiency in industry-leading estimating programs. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
- Utilize estimating software to analyze specifications, labor, and material costs.
- Review electrical designs, conduit sizing, and circuit sharing to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and finalize bids.
- Conduct site visits and assessments when necessary to ensure accurate estimation.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in electrical estimating for commercial projects.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with estimating programs such as McCormick Systems
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including conduit sizing and circuit sharing.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and compare cost variables for competitive bidding.
- Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
