Dirt/Sand Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Dirt/Sand Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery in our Dirt/Sand Pit ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, and Caterpillar machinery to move dirt, sand, gravel or other materials.
Digging, Excavating, and loading materials into trucks or other containers for transportation.
Maintain and organize stockpiles of dirt, sand, or gravel, ensuring easy access and efficient material handling.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and maintain workflow.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Skills
Proficient in heavy equipment operation
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Familiarity with Sand/Dirt Pit site protocols and safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
