Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The right candidate will have a solid track record in commercial construction estimating and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role is essential to our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial projects
Review plans, specifications, and other documents to evaluate project scope
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Assist with bid proposals and value engineering opportunities
Monitor costs and budgets throughout preconstruction
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
35 years of commercial construction estimating experience
Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Familiar with Seattle-area construction practices and codes
