Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (required) Completion of a one-year technical trade school program or equivalent work experience Licensure: Valid Driver's License in the state of employment Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial electrical distribution systems (required) Prior experience in a healthcare setting (preferred) Required Skills: Strong knowledge of life safety standards, electrical codes, and building regulations Proficiency in the installation and repair of electrical equipment, systems, and devices Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electrical systems, including A/C equipment, switchgear, and motor control centers Experience operating and maintaining emergency generator sets and transfer switch equipment Skilled in using electrical testing devices and interpreting technical service manuals, schematics, and blueprints Capable of performing physical tasks including medium to heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and kneeling for extended periods Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Ability to detect and respond to equipment malfunctions through sound and visual cues Willingness and ability to work in potentially hazardous environments including exposure to electrical shock, infectious diseases, severe weather, and chemicals Able to work in high-stress environments with noise and heavy foot traffic Flexibility to work extended shifts as needed Ability to assist in firefighting and emergency evacuation procedures Preferred Skills: Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation and repair Proficiency with personal computers and related software applications Job Opening ID 52226
