Responsibilities

To maintain and upgrade the interior and exterior painted surfaces of the Stella Maris complex.

Essential Functions

• Assures that all needed equipment and supplies are available for the day's assignment and paint carts are properly stocked.
• Selects pre-mixed paints mixes paints to match specified colors.
• Prepares surfaces to be painted, to include removing old paint when necessary and filling cracks, holes, and joints as needed.
• Prepares area, to include protecting furniture, floors, etc., washing walls as needed and erecting ladders or scaffolding.
• Paints surfaces using brushes, spray cans or paint rollers to achieve a smooth, cleanable surface.
• Cleans equipment immediately upon completion of job.
• Responds immediately to emergencies requiring maintenance or fire brigade during scheduled hours.
• Other duties within scope of job functions as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum three (3) years experience
