Traffic Engineer 3

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering are required; or a State of Florida Professional Engineer license and three years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering are required.

Recruitment Notes

This position involves engineering work within the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) Traffic Signals and Signs Division. Employees are responsible for inspecting projects for compliance with specifications and accepted engineering functions of a highly technical nature involving engineering study, design, analysis, or testing. This position also includes supervisory administrative responsibilities within traffic and transportation operations, planning and design of varied traffic studies, and engineering projects.
