Job Description
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Management Assistant to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a Hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. **Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:** + Support the Task Lead with the development and maintenance of the software development project schedule IAW industry standards + Ensure proper linkage between tasks and milestones to identify the project's critical path. + Gather status updates from developers, business analysts and testers, and system administrators; update the project schedule accordingly. + Develop views, reports and presentation materials to support reviews with team members, program management and government managers. + Manage Project Training efforts: Gather requirements, develop in-person and computer-based training materials, and coordinate all training activities. + Manage Quality Assurance efforts: Devise/Revise plans for enforcing Quality Assurance within the program as well as policies, procedures and templates that drive efficiency and project quality. + Help track, review and deliver Contract Delivery Requirements List (CDRLs) materials to ensure they meet government and project quality requirements. + Assist as needed with other tasks as needed, such as Requirements Management, Inventory Management, and procurement of materials and licenses needed for the project. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; an additional 6 years of experience might be considered in lieu of a Degree. + 4 + years supporting or managing project training efforts. + 2 + years of project support experience. + 2 + years of Microsoft Project experience. + Must have strong skills in use of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. + Must have experience in successfully working in a team environment, helping support management's needs by strengthening team members' contributions and helping ensure their needs are conveyed to management. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience supporting Agile methodology. + Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the relevance of supporting activities and deliverables. **Clearance Requirements** **:** + Must have an active Secret clearance w/JAFAN eligibility **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
