Location: Farmington, MI

Pay: $18/hr

Shift: 7am-3:30pm | M-F w/some OT | Occasional Saturday

Job Summary

The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform manual labor tasks and support team members during jobs.

Drive a Hilo to empty machining chip hoppers into scrap bin

Package parts for shipment

Counting parts for both inbound and outbound shipments

Moving parts to locations throughout the shop

Perform shop clean-up and other duties as assigned.

Possibly drive parts to other shop locations

Education and Experience (required):

High school diploma or equivalent.

No previous experience required.

Education and Experience (preferred):

1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience.

Valid driver's license.

Experience operating a hi-lo.

Experience packing and shipping parts.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Dependable and has good attendance.

Able to work independently and as part of a team. Skills,

Knowledge and Abilities (preferred)

Knowledge of hand tools.

Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
