Machine Operator** **Job Description** The primary responsibility of this role is to set up and operate hardware machines to ensure accurate installation of various components. The Machine Operator will be tasked with efficiently handling all models of hardware machines, auto feed tooling, and interpreting blueprints for precise hardware installation. The shift is Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate all models of hardware machines efficiently and accurately according to job requirements. + Set up and operate auto feed tooling to ensure continuous and efficient hardware installation. + Read and interpret blueprints to determine correct hardware installation locations and specifications. + Maintain accurate count of installed hardware and complete necessary paperwork related to inventory and production. + Perform regular maintenance on hardware machines to ensure optimal performance and keep the work area clean and organized. + Manage inventory of hardware components, ensuring adequate stock levels for production needs. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or Shop Foreman to support operational requirements. **Essential Skills** + Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately. + Proficiency in computer skills and shop math to calculate measurements, operate machinery control screens, and manage inventory. + Effective time management and communication skills to meet project deadlines and follow instructions. + Previous machine operation experience in a production or machine shop environment. + Ability to use a tape measure accurately. **Work Environment** The work environment is a machine shop that can be loud at times but remains clean and organized. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes to ensure safety. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
