Responsible for coordination ofall technical activities on assigned projects, as it pertains toIn-Flight-Entertainment (IFE)/Electrical. Responsible for technicaltroubleshooting of IFE systems, and maintenance of associatedtesting equipment, in Production and Repair Station areas. Plans,schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned electricalengineering work; monitors work for compliance to applicableAirframe requirements, IFE supplier requirements, customerrequirements, accepted engineering practices, as well as RECAROstandards; ensures effective communication and coordination onassigned projects between all disciplines and all other projectparticipants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include thefollowing, other duties may be assigned:Reviews RECARO AcceptanceTest Procedure (ATP) for consistency with IFE supplier ATP prior toElectrical Engineering submittal to OEMReviews all aspects ofelectrical design for HOV programs including, but not limited to,Electrical drawings and BOMs prior to final release to ensure cablepart numbers, routings and grounding are correct and feasible forproduction build. Works directly with the wiring stations inproduction during FAI/HOV builds to verify assembly is feasiblewith documentation.Trains production personnel on operation of testequipment and how to follow the ATP in order to correctly testproduction seats and its functionality.Production focal point forall IFE failures / first responder to all Electrical related ANDONcalls.Creates test time analysis for all FAI seat P/N's and reportsfindings to Production Planning team. Plans, schedules and tracksengineering tasks; provides detailed reports to Liaison EngineeringLead or Electrical Engineer.Responds to concerns of customers bymaking changes in a liaison capacity, in regards to IFE/Electricalcomponent integration, in a manner that meets customer expectationsand are in conformance with applicable regulations under thesupervision of the Liaison Engineering Lead or ElectricalEngineer.Supports Purchasing and Production by providing bills ofmaterials and documentation to support sourcing of components andtheir integration.Requirements:Qualifications:An associate's degreeis required in electrical or manufacturing, or a relative technicalfield, with 0-2 years of experience or a combination of educationand equivalent experience.Experience with electro-mechanicalcomponents/instruments. Experience with hand tools such asmultimeters, circuit breaker finders, voltage testers, etc.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint).Experience in the design, integration and certificationof Electrical Components installed in Aircraft interiors isdesired.Experience with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) isdesired.Experience in CATIA V5 and electrical design/wire routingmodules within CATIA V5 or similar program is a plus.Knowledge ofPLM based database systems such as Teamcenter, Agile or Enovia is aplus.Good understanding of software programming and softwareconfiguration control is a plus.PI6c798e7d7945-25...
