Alarm Technician

We are seeking a motivated technician to install cabling, field equipment, and control equipment enclosures at customer sites in compliance with the National Electric Code, as well as company and customer standards. Key Responsibilities: Install and configure complex integrated security systems, including wiring, equipment, and programming of access control systems, CCTV, digital/network recorders, and intercom systems. Use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/system programs, schematics, and product manuals. Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong self-motivation to complete tasks efficiently. Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, and foster strong working relationships. Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with attention to detail. Analyze technical information to support installation and troubleshooting efforts. Technical Knowledge: Proficient in using computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems, media storage, and alarm systems. Understanding of IP-addressable security devices and advanced TCP/IP networking. Experience with both digital and analog camera systems. Knowledge of burglar and fire alarm systems.
