Studio Latofiume ( is an innovative and growing studio in New Orleans, focused on commercial and residential projects in multiple states.

We are seeking a talented Intermediate Architect / Design Manager with solid experience, design confidence, and the technical skills to help support across our growing pipeline of new work.

We are seeking a candidate who generally matches the below profile. We encourage you to apply if your experience does not match 100% - we believe in fostering a supportive work environment where the success of each project is reflective of the studio as a whole.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design

3-5 years of experience in an architectural or interior design firm. Previous experience delivering multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality projects is a plus.

Self motivated with strong organizational skills, ability to manage a project and ask for help when you need it.

Experience with most phases of project delivery - early site due diligence through construction administration.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask

Understanding of building codes, and comfort with referencing codes in multiple jurisdictions.

Active RA or NCIDQ, or on path to licensure

Technical proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Rhino, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Is authorized to and currently works in the USA

Is comfortable traveling ~30% of the time, as needed for projects

Is looking to have fun and get their hands dirty - we are at a dynamic moment of growth in the studio, so ambition and a willingness to help build for the future are huge pluses.

Our small yet mighty team engages with a diverse set of clients across a range of project types - the immediate emphasis for this position will be focused on national branded restaurant projects with opportunities to also support on active residential and hospitality projects as well. We work on a full-time hybrid model (2 days in person/3 remote) out of a coworking space in New Orleans, so preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance and who are able to work in-person a few days a week.

While we are unable to sponsor visas at this time and a full-time, New Orleans based candidate is ideal, we are open to other flexible working arrangements for qualified candidates. If you are interested in a more flexible working arrangement, please indicate your preferences in your application.
